Veneers and Crowns in the smile

Veneers are thin ceramic coverings used to change the shape or shade of front teeth and can deliver a dramatic change to your smile.

Dental crowns (commonly referred to as caps) are used to restore teeth when tooth structure has been lost due to decay or fracture, and sometimes after root canal therapy. Dental crowns in the smile are made of porcelain. Dental crowns can improve the appearance and strength of your tooth and significantly improve your dental and overall health and wellbeing.

When veneers or crowns are performed in the smile, our office takes special care to get the best possible esthetic results. A highly esthetic provisional (temporary) veneer or crown will be hand fabricated by Dr. Hall so that you can evaluate the appearance and your speech before a final restoration is made for you.

Our dental laboratory (Nucraft Dental Arts) will create a custom veneer or crown for you based on Dr. Hall’s provisional restoration and the specific characteristics and features of your teeth. On some occasions, a custom shade appointment will be scheduled with the dental artisan who will be fabricating the custom restoration.
