ROAD CONSTRUCTION
FROM THE DESK OF SANDY AND BONNIE…
With all the changes in health insurance it is now more important than ever to review your plan and take note of the following:
• We are a “fee for service” office that files your insurance, as a courtesy to you!
• Although every effort is made to confirm coverage with a patient’s plan, it is the patient’s responsibility to inform our office of changes and any balance due is the patient’s financial responsibility.
• Out of respect of your time, we ask that these changes are made BEFORE the day of your appointment. If you have ever called an insurance company, you know how long it takes to even get through to a person. We work really hard to keep a timely schedule and we don’t want your appointment to be interrupted because we are waiting on the insurance company.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
Happy New Year!!
It’s a new year, which means a new calendar year for most insurance policies. This is the perfect time to schedule a cleaning so you have all year to maximize your benefits.
Remember…if you don’t use them, you lose them!

November 1 – National Brush Day
BRUSH UP!
There’s no better time to commit to brushing twice a day for two minutes than the day after Halloween.
Brushing your teeth is an important part of your dental care routine. For a healthy mouth and smile the ADA recommends you:
- Brush your teeth twice a day with a soft-bristled brush. The size and shape of your brush should fit your mouth allowing you to reach all areas easily.
- Replace your toothbrush every three or four months, or sooner if the bristles are frayed. A worn toothbrush won’t do a good job of cleaning your teeth.
- Make sure to use an ADA-accepted fluoride toothpaste.
