Partial and Complete Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissues. There are two types of dentures, complete dentures and partial dentures. Complete dentures are used when all the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some of the natural teeth remain. Sometimes when there is very little bone remaining in the jaw, dental implants can be used to help stabilize and support the denture.
